Q: Why do you not have a studio?

A: A studio is in the works but at this point in time I require to take all the shots at the clients home or on locations. This is great for my client with small children as they are more at home when it comes time for their photo shoot. I am a big believer in making sure that you are comfortable with your surroundings. It makes for a more relaxed photo session and better images.

Q: Can I just drop by and get some quick photos done?

A: I work by appointment only so that you and your family will receive my complete and undivided attention. By offering you a portrait session in this sort of fashion, I am able to take the time that is required to create a custom one-on-one portrait experience for you and your family.

Q: Why do I sometimes get your voicemail when I call?

A: The style of portraiture I create requires my undivided attention and that includes every aspect of the business including the phone. When you invest in your portrait experience, it is all about the best personal service, from the first time you call, to the delivery of your finished portraits.

Q: Why do I have to pay $85 to hold my date?

A: I require a $85 reservation session fee. This is due no later than 5 days following your verbal commitment to your date. This fee will go toward your total investment amount, and shows me that your are committed to your portrait session. Please realize that I booked at least one month in advanced, and often times even longer than that. There are many people hoping to enjoy a portrait experience with me. If something comes up and you need to make a new reservation please do so with in 72 hours of your date. That way someone else can have your reservation date, otherwise your reservation fee will be held, and a new one will be required to reserve another date.

Q: I'm so excited! When do I get to see my images?

A: You will get to see your images in a slideshow set to music during your Ordering Appointment 7-10 days after your Session. I will help you with all of your final decisions on images and products that I have custom designed just for you. Feel free to bring someone with you if you like. Don't worry! If you have family that lives out of town, a gallery of your favorites can be posted online for them to view following the ordering appointment.

Q: What is included in my package?

A: All portrait packages include retouching. There is no need to worry about blemishes, lines around the eyes, scars, bags or even kids skinned knees. Problems like these are reduced or removed. I can even whiten your teeth. I also add a light skin softening technique that will make your skin young and soft without taking away from your main features, or making you look like someone other than yourself. All this at no extra charge.

Q: When and how should I pay for my portraits?

A: I will ask for your payment upon completion of your ordering session. Which will take place after the photo session. Please be prepared with the appropriate funds, and method. I accept cash, and cheques at this time. Please note that no part of your portrait finishing will begin until your full payment is received.

Q: When do I get my finished order.

A: Depending on the time of year, most orders are delivered in about 3-4 weeks. If you have a canvas, or other specialty items, you can expect it about 4-6 weeks. There is an incredible amount of work that goes into these pieces, and it takes time to finalize each of them.

Q: Can I scan your photos to make more prints?

A: Taking photographs is not just my hobby, it is my profession. I make my living creating beautfully designed images for you. By copying my work you are stealing from me. If you need more photographs, I will be happy to print as many as you would like for you. Please do not copy my photographs!

You will never experience any high pressured sales as I am very easy going, so if you're just looking around and you're still not sure about a portrait investment with me, I am ok with that. I would however love to give you all the details and let you make up your own decision. I believe in helping my clients get exactly what they want and need, and nothing more.
